Sarah Horne
I graduated from Falmouth College of Arts in 2001, and have been illustrating and writing books since. I began my career working in editorial and advertising illustration before moving into working with characters in children’s publishing. I have illustrated well over 70 books to date, many have been very funny books, some have been very cute. Though I am primarily known for middle grade fiction (Charlie Changes into a Chicken, Fizzlebert Stump, Ask Oscar) I work across the board in children’s publishing- Picture Books, illustrated book cover design and typography, middle grade, educational and non-fiction.
I also make artwork and have a current series of work entitled HOME.
I live in London, originally from Derbyshire. I love a roast dinner, running and a good muddy walk. Big fan of film, photography, story, Cornish coastline, wild moorland and many other things.
