Sarah Horne

Hi there!

I am an established children’s book Illustrator. I specialise in funny, inky drawings for mainly Young Fiction titles. I welcome a good Picture Book project too.

I work with a dip pen and Indian Ink, finishing the work digitally. I am currently writing and Illustrating two books, a middle grade and a non-fiction title, publishing 2020 and 2021 with Chicken House and Bloomsbury respectively.

This year, I have the joy of illustrating Sam Copeland’s debut novel Charlie Changes Into A Chicken with Puffin/Penguin Random House. There are two further titles slated for release (Aug 2019 & Feb 2020). See blog for more Charlie.

I am also a very experienced editorial, design and advertising Illustrator. I am usually available for quick-fire editorial and design work. Drop me a line directly to commission, I will be happy to think through your design brief.

I am also a fine artist working on canvas and also digitally. There are plans for an exhibition Summer 2019. More details to follow on this.
